The Swapmeet
The swapmeet area on the Sunday will have space for over 100 vehicles / tables. For those of you that have never been to a swapmeet this is basically like a huge boot sale where everybody is selling off their unwanted modelling gear, you will find everything on sale from a switch harness up to a complete scale plane ready to go. There is a certain buzz at swapmeet's as every body rushes round to try and get themselves the best bargain of the day. Part of the swapmeet culture is haggling with the stall holders to try and get them to reduce the price.Swapmeet Pitches
All stalls at the Sunday swapmeet must be booked in in advance. Only second hand goods are permitted to be sold at the swapmeet, if you are a trader selling new goods you should book a trade stand.
The cost for a swapmeet pitch is £10.00 including entry for the stall holder, any helpers will need to pay the normal admission charge on the gate. You will need to supply your own tables etc.
All swapmeet pitches will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. In addition normal camping charges will apply to anyone who wishes to camp for the weekend and have a swapmeet pitch.
