April 16, 2007:

If you are a frequent visitor to the Southern Model Airshow website you'll have noticed a few changes. The site has been completely overhauled and we hope you find it useful and informative. Please post your comments or contact the team if you have any questions or suggestions.

As for the 2007 show itself, the planning is progressing at breakneck speed. The reputation of the show being one of the best in Southern England is proving to be a great draw with trade bookings and pilots applications coming in fast.

We're glad to see our regulars coming back year on year which proves we must be doing it right, but we are also pleased to welcome traders from far away, such as Overlander who obviously feel the journey is worthwhile.

Talking of long distance show regulars, the enthusiasm of the Cornish Redruth boys shows no sign of waning, they feel the 500 mile round trip is well worth it.

New for this year will be Denis Kenyon who will be providing a thrilling full size heli display. I've never seen Denis display but apparently it's the closest thing you can get to fullsize 3D.

Remember to check out the trade page for an up to date list of traders booked in for the show.

Finally, if you want to fly and you haven't requested an application form from Theresa and Roger yet, please do so quickly as the available places are filling up fast.
